Qualifications & Membership: I graduated with an upper second class Psychology degree from Birmingham University in 1983. I completed Manchester University’s 2 year MSc programme in clinical psychology in 1987, qualifying me to practice in the NHS. I am an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (AFBPsS) and a Chartered Clinical Psychologist (C.Psychol.) I am a member of the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy (BABCP) and the Holistic Special Interest Group of the British Psychological Society. I am a co-founder of an organisation for Manchester psychologists and psychotherapists in private practice (MP4).

I have co-authored four book chapters, the last of which was published by Wiley (1998), a text edited by Professors of Psychiatry, Carlo Perris and Patrick McGorry, entitled Cognitive Psychotherapy of Psychotic and Personality Disorders.
